You spoke and we’re listening. Your Big Swansea Survey 2025 results are in!
Thank you to everyone who took the time to share your views in this year’s Big Swansea Survey Campaign, including the National Student Survey (NSS). We’ll be using your feedback to really make a difference in the academic year ahead.
Our Student Experience Surveys are so important for helping us understand your experience and plan meaningful improvements at all levels of study.
We’re proud to say that 86% of Swansea students who responded to the surveys are satisfied with their course overall, compared to 84% last year, showing positive improvements across the board since 2024. That’s thanks to your input and the hard work of staff across the University.

We also saw great improvements in areas like assessment, teaching, and student voice, and we will work hard to keep building on that.
What happens next
We’re proud that many of you think we’re improving your student experience, but we know there is always more to do. We’re already working on your suggestions, and we’ll keep listening, whilst also getting better at showing you how your feedback is being used.
We will be updating you throughout the academic year on the changes we’re making and asking you to help us!
